Investment Policy change of the underlying fund of J37 Schroder Latin American

We have been informed by Schroder International Selection Fund (“The Company”) of the decision to change the investment policy of the underlying fund into which J37 Schroder Latin American invests. This change will become effective from 13 June 2019 (the “Effective Date”).

Please see below the investment policy changes, applicable to the underlying fund of J37 Schroder Latin American, before and with effect from the Effective Date.

The underlying fund invests at least two-thirds of its assets in equity and equity related securities of Latin American Companies.

The underlying fund typically holds 50-70 companies.

The underlying fund is managed with reference to material environmental, social and governance factors. This means issues such as climate change, environmental performance, labour standards or board composition that could impact a company’s value may be considered in the assessment of companies.

The underlying fund may use derivatives with the aim of achieving investment gains, reducing risk or managing the underlying fund more efficiently. The underlying fund may also invest in Money Market instruments and hold cash.

The underlying fund may use derivatives with the aim of achieving investment gains, reducing risk or managing the underlying fund more efficiently. The underlying fund may also invest in Money Market instruments and hold cash.

The Company have confirmed that all other key features of the underlying fund of J37 Schroder Latin American will remain the same. There will be no change to the way the underlying fund is managed, or to its investment style, investment philosophy or risk profile following this change.
